CEREC One-Visit Crowns in Brownstown, MI
With CEREC technology, Dr. Hadad can create beautiful and durable dental restorations right here in house while you wait.
Multiple trips to the dentist to complete a single procedure can make life difficult. There’s the time away from work and family and the scheduling headaches, not to mention weeks spent waiting to get your smile back to normal. In the past, all dental crowns had to be created in the dental lab, adding weeks to the procedure and requiring temporary crowns. However, at Ultimate Dental in Brownstown, Michigan, we have an alternative option for you: CEREC one-visit crowns.
CEREC technology can be used to create an array of porcelain dental restorations: crowns, inlays, and onlays. Porcelain inlays and onlays are often used to fix dental cavities that have grown too large to be fixed with a dental filling, while crowns are used to cap fractured, broken, or heavily damaged teeth or teeth that have been treated with root canal therapy.
How do CEREC one-visit crowns work? Using CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing), the CEREC machinery can make digital impressions of the tooth or teeth that need crowns, inlays, or onlays, send this information to a milling unit, and the milling unit will then craft the needed dental restorations out of a block of porcelain. While the entire process would’ve involved messy impressions along with a couple of weeks of waiting while the dental lab created your dental crowns or other restorations, we can now do it all in a single appointment most of the time. And with early morning hours as well as some evening hours available from Ultimate Dental, we make your time truly count.
Time is valuable, and we want you to spend less of it in our Brownstown dental office and more of it doing the things that truly matter to you. CEREC one-visit crowns allow you to experience oral health without spending a lot of time achieving it. Contact us for an appointment to learn more about how CEREC can work for you.
